Lahore Qalandar had their best performance of the PSL 5, at their home ground Gaddafi Stadium grounded by United in the run chase of 198. After winning the toss at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore Sohail Akhtar, the skipper of Qalandars decided to bowl first. Ingram contributed 29 runs to Islamabad United’s scorecard and formed a partnership with Monro off 46 runs. Asif Ali came with 20 runs off six balls who smashed single maximum and three fours in his short innings. His outstanding innings took United to 198/3 in ten overs. Qalandars used seven bowlers who proved expensive with only Hafeez two overs who conceded 5.50 runs. Salman Irshad who bagged his best bowling figure with 4/30 in the last game and now got the only wicket of Colin Ingram. Seekkuge Prasanna conceded 28 runs in his two overs bowling spell.
