An excellent day for Dilbar Hussain, the right-arm medium pacer who picked up four wickets against a set stage. Dilbar Hussain removed four dominant batsmen Haider Ali, Mohammad Mohsin, Lewis Gregory, and Darren Sammy. At one time, Zalmi was going with the run-rate of 15 runs and almost there to take over 150 targets. Dilbar Hussain’s three overs bowling spell with three wickets after conceding 24 runs somehow restricted Zalmi to 132 total.
Banton and Haider Ali 34 Runs Innings
Tom Banton scored 34 runs off 14 balls including two maximums and four-fours taking a lead over Qalandars in four overs of powerplay. An excellent day for youngster Haider Ali who scored 34 runs off 12 balls with four gigantic sixes and six four build confidence. Surely he will be happy for his excellent performance taking advantage of his batting position. The youngster came after the Under 19 Cricket World Cup great performances.
Salman Irshad bowled two overs in his first appearance in the Pakistan Super League 2020 season. He conceded 33 runs with his slingy action and most of his straight inline yorkers. David Wiese picked up two wickets by removing Liam Livingstone and Tom Banton. Shaheen Shah Afridi gave a thrilling performance with his bowling taking four wickets in the last game. Anyhow Lahore bowling performance in 12 overs cut short game have been pretty expensive conceding 132 runs off it.
Qalandars 48/0 in 4 Overs than Collapsed
Chris Lynn is leading from the front, taking Qalandars to 48 runs for 0 in four overs with almost done. His teammates didn’t capitalize on his brilliant innings of 30 run off 15 balls. Qalandars top-order batsman Mohammad Hafeez went back to pavilion after playing only three deliveries. Fakhar and after that, others started losing their wickets at regular intervals. A four wicket-haul by Lewis Gregory who removed dominant batsmen Fakhar, Lynn, Hafeez, and skipper Sohail Akhtar.
